Bob Marshall Wilderness Adventure 2017

This summer we were invited by our friends in Kalispell, Montana; Jay and Kim Deist, to do another back-country trip on horseback and pack mule. We went into the Bob Marshall Wildness and had an amazing adventure. We tracked eight hours on the head waters of the Middle Fork of the Flathead River to Big River Meadows. This is the second we had camped there. It’s beautiful with a huge meadow in front of our camp site where the horse and mules can graze in complete freedom and a little stream that flows right out of the mountain with the most wonderful tasting water ever. We were there for three days and on the four we headed home. We had great food, drinks and lots of fun.
